An elegant haven inspired by a tranquil Javanese-Hindu water palace, Jumeirah Bali has announced the launch of a new culinary offering. Served against the panorama of the famous Uluwatu beach down below, the new brunch is a celebration of clean, organic flavours in the most spectacular of settings. Guests can also choose to combine their brunch experience with a deeply relaxing massage at Talise Spa designed to evoke a summer palace.
Segaran Dining Terrace, the breezy, sun-kissed brunch venue, offers elevated dining with a focus on sustainably sourced ingredients and healthful South East Asian cuisine. Relaxed and sociable, the elegant spot boasts scenic views over the Uluwatu coast and is steeped in the grandeur of Majapahit empire, the ancient Javanese-Hindu kingdom that inspired the design of the all-villa resort.
The extra-long brunch allows guests to soak up Bali’s natural beauty, while the optional spa element is an excellent introduction to the world of Talise Spa where indigenous therapies, Balinese spirituality and the island’s only Hammam combine to create some of Bali’s most unique wellness experiences. Throughout Jumeirah Bali’s new brunch, a live saxophone soundtrack will set the scene for a languid afternoon filled with fresh tropical flavours, lively conversations and premium beverages ranging from chilled champagne to fresh juices.
Additionally, a unique turtle release experience will be available to all brunch guests on the Uluwatu beach. Part of the resort’s sustainability and community outreach programme, the activity is coordinated by Turtle Conservation and Education Center (TCEC), a non-profit focusing on protecting endangered turtles on Serangan island off Bali’s coast.
Sunday Brunch is served at Segaran Dining Terrace every Sunday from 12:00 pm to 16:00 pm and is priced at IDR 950,000++ per person including free-flow non-alcoholic drinks; IDR 1,250,000++ per person with free-flow alcoholic drinks. Sunday Brunch with a 60-minute massage of choice and free-flow alcoholic drinks is priced at IDR 1,850,000++; and IDR 1,550,000++ with soft drinks only. Additionally, children between the ages of 4 and 12 can enjoy the brunch at half price.
