Samsara Inn: The Style of Colonial Splendour in the Heart of Kuta

A restless and delightfully chaotic tropical life, as well as an essential part of any trip to Bali, Kuta continues to bewilder, bemuse and please its many travellers often in equal measures. Here, sprawling megamalls and shiny beaches sit side-by-side with temples where rituals are performed daily and villages where an ancient way of life still continues.

Also known the Aussie Island, Kuta has its own charm and ability to get completely under your skin. This part of the island is also the most hipster area with an arty, progressive vibe and vintage markets, cool cafes, street stalls to fine restaurants, trendy boutiques and craft cocktail bars aplenty. And with that collection in the neighbourhood, you may wonder of where to stay.

Those who appreciate and feel taken by the beauty of architecture can consider staying at Samsara Inn. But, hang on! Don’t start assuming yet. This is nothing like a homestay or dorm where all you can do is just sleep and go. This is a timeless boutique hotel, full of integrity and style, that delivers a rare feeling of back in time a few decades ago.

The ivory coloured, three-story building of Samsara Inn is Asian nostalgia at its finest. It is magnificently styled after a classic colonial Indonesian mansion. Through architecture and its interior design, the property invites you to immerse in every detail that makes it a unique residential ambience. Be it a pattern, detail, furniture selection, or antiques, there is almost no bare and plain walls and space – every spot has been thoughtfully adorned with those elements combined empty space to create the harmony. It is a pleasure for the eyes, indeed! And the best of all, Kuta Beach is only within a walking distance!

As you step into the property, you will be greeted by a swimming pool. This is a favourite place where you can take a dip or spend a day reading accompanied by light refreshments. The natural light coming directly from the sky above creates a cosy atmosphere for a lazy sunbathing. If you prefer indoor, a lobby area is just next to it.

As for the rooms, Samsara Inn offers a sophisticated colonial décor in two categories; Standard Queen and Standard Twin. Choose where you want to stay, with a balcony or patio overlooking the central garden and swimming pool.

Because of its cosy atmosphere, Samsara Inn is suitable for groups of friends and also single couples, whether business executives simply looking for the perfect environment to relax and unwind, or newlyweds looking for a romantic venue in which to spend their honeymoon. However, please be advised that this is a smoking free property. And to ensure your total relaxation while staying at this hotel, families with little kids are not permitted.
