Karma Group, the international luxury hotel and lifestyle brand founded by British entrepreneur John Spence, hosted its Annual Southeast Asia Awards on Wednesday, 7 October 2026. The event took place at Puri Bhagawan overlooking Jimbaran Bay, bringing together around 900 invited guests, including company executives, resort teams and international VIPs, to recognise outstanding performance and long service across the region.

Karma Group operated a portfolio of luxury resorts, private residences, dining venues and wellness spas across Asia, Europe and Africa. In Southeast Asia, the company has over 1,150 employees across 11 resorts, sales and marketing hubs in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia and a central administration office in Bali.
The regional portfolio included Karma Kandara, Karma Jimbaran, Karma Royal Sanur, Karma Royal Jimbaran and Karma Royal Candidasa in Indonesia, as well as properties in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.
The evening began at 5:30pm, with 22 regional awards recognising achievements across the company’s various business units. Long Service Awards were also presented to team members marking 10, 20 and 30 years with Karma Group, recognising the experience and commitment of employees who had built long careers with the company.
The annual awards provided an opportunity for Karma Group’s Southeast Asian teams to come together, celebrate the year’s achievements and recognise the people behind the company’s continued growth across the region.
