Are you looking for high quality food? To be entertained? Or to have a nice dinner with your loved one(s)? Well, Shima might be the perfect place for you! Renowned for its Teppanyaki, Shima is the place to go if you enjoy Japanese food and want a distinctive dining experience in Bali. This restaurant offers not only delectable food but also a memorable live culinary experience. Curious to what a live cooking experience at Shima looks like? In this article, we are taking you with us!

The welcoming and accommodating staff at Shima will welcome you and show you to your table as soon as you arrive. If you chose the live cooking option, you will be seated at one of the Teppanyaki tables, which have chairs around the outside and a huge grill in the center. You will then receive the menu card, where you can choose from a variety of different dishes. From locally caught fish, to premium quality imported Australian beef, they offer it all. Don’t worry if you are a vegetarian, as they offer delicious grown vegetables as well.

The chef will introduce himself and go over the cooking process after you’ve settled in. He’ll also inquire if anyone has any dietary requirements or preferences, so that he may alter the food properly. Then the cooking starts! The chef will start by grilling some vegetables and seafood, such as shrimp and scallops, right in front of you. You can feel the heat and hear the sizzling while the food cooks because the grill is hot and the flames are high. The chef takes the time to explain his process and respond to any queries as each dish is prepared with care and precision.

The connection between the chef and the guests is one of the attractions of Shima’s live cooking experience. You can query the chef about the ingredients, preparation methods, and Japanese cuisine in general because he is preparing food right in front of you.

The freshness of the food is another advantage of the live cooking experience. You may be guaranteed that your food is as fresh as it gets because everything is prepared upon request. Additionally, you can see exactly what ingredients are used in each meal and how it is created, as it is a live cooking concept.

Of course, the cuisine itself is the most crucial aspect of any dining experience, and Shima does not fall short in this regard. Sushi, sashimi, tempura, and of course Teppanyaki are just a few of the Japanese cuisine available on the menu. Each meal is crafted with premium ingredients and is skilfully and precisely prepared.

Shima offers a more conventional eating experience in addition to the live cooking experience, where you can place an order from the menu and have your food produced in the kitchen. But the live cooking experience is undoubtedly the best option if you’re looking for something a little more engaging and unforgettable.

Overall, for anyone who likes Japanese food, the live cooking experience at Shima in Bali is a must-try. Everything about this restaurant, from the knowledgeable and welcoming chefs to the fresh and delectable food, is intended to offer a special eating experience. Therefore, make sure to check out Shima if you’re in Bali and searching for a distinctive gastronomic experience!
