Kahitna, Melly Goeslaw, Nadin Amizah, Dikta Wicaksono, Mus Mujiono, Diskoria, Gitalia KDI feat Suradipa Project, and Namone Sarre were the musicians who performed and made thousands of audiences sing along at Senggigi Sunset Jazz 2023 festival which were held at Kerandangan Beach of Senggigi tourism area, West Lombok on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
Nety Rusi, Chairman of the Senggigi Sunset Jazz festival, said that the event is not only featured music performances but also culinary festival by MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) tenants. The elaborated festival is made for audiences to truly enjoy the festivity of good music and good food on the beach.
There were 34 food stalls represented both local and legendary food from several regions, namely Pempek Pak Raden from Palembang, Empal Gentong Haji Apud from Cirebon, Batagor Siomay Kingsley from Bandung, Sanjai Chips Christine Hakim from Padang, and Kemplang Crackers Mrs. Ase from Lampung. “The food provided by the tenants is all sold out. Some even refilled when their stocks run out in the middle of the event,” she added.
Total sales of Senggigi Sunset Jazz tickets reached the target of 9,000. The number of audiences in 2023 is the same as in 2022, because it adheres to the capacity granted by the permits. Not only that, the event also involved 1,000 committee members from Lombok and its surroundings.
One of the musicians, Mus Mujiono, said the atmosphere of the Senggigi Sunset Jazz festival was extraordinary, with enthusiastic audiences. They have musical character, can be invited to sing along with new songs or old songs. “Hopefully in the future Senggigi Sunset Jazz will be even more lively, not only featuring Indonesian musicians, but also from abroad,” he concluded.
