As dusk falls, the Kecak Dance captivates with its rhythmic chanting and storytelling, followed by the Tedung Dance, which symbolises protection. The evening continues with the Rangda Dance, a powerful depiction of transformation, before culminating in the Ogoh-Ogoh Parade. This awe-inspiring procession features towering effigies crafted by local artist, I Putu Darmayasa, from Ungasan village, South Kuta. In Balinese folklore, Ogoh-Ogoh effigies represent Bhuta Mandar and Bhuta Mandir, dark spirits believed to embody disruptive energies. Through rituals and the grand parade, these energies are symbolically purified, restoring balance before the silent day of Nyepi.
