The early morning calm at Mangrove Last Point was swiftly replaced by purposeful energy as teams from HARRIS Hotel Kuta Tuban & YELLO Hotel Kuta Beachwalk took to the shoreline—gloves on, sleeves rolled up—to remove plastic waste smothering the mangrove roots.
Organized under the stewardship of The Ascott Limited, this Mangrove Clean-Up mobilized staff from all departments to clear accumulated non‑organic waste—plastic bottles, food wrappers, miscellaneous debris—that had become enmeshed in this critical coastal ecosystem.
“This is more than just an environmental activity—it’s a reflection of our responsibility as hospitality leaders in Bali,” said Grandi Sumeitro, General Manager Shared Service of YELLO Hotel Kuta Beachwalk, HARRIS Hotel Kuta Tuban, and Beachwalk Residence Bali. “Our team is proud to take part in real actions that go beyond the hotel walls.
