Bali has insanely become popular among digital nomads. A fantastic balance between work and play has inspired thousands of entrepreneurs to flock to Bali. With faster Wi-Fi connections and better infrastructure, this island quickly became a hub for digital nomads. Co-Working spaces have popped up with unique personalities of their own. The workplace itself is not only important but also the location and the entire community that prevails within.

Here, in this article, we feature some of the best Co-Working spaces (in alphabetical order). Even if you don’t intend to do much work at these places, at least you can always let ideas and creativity flow!

Baker’s Corner Café

Perfectly situated in the busy area of Petitenget Street, this new café features an outdoor patio, a spacious and cosy indoor seating area. It’s a perfect spot to hang out and chit-chat while doing some work. If you need to put your head down and focus, their indoor area might be more suitable with a lounge-style vibe and plug sockets to get you into the zone. The coworking space as a whole offers strong WiFi as well as great bakeries and coffees on comfy seats for you to be productive in style.

Genesis Creative Centre

The Genesis Creative Centre is not your typical coworking space. Specially designed for creative souls, Genesis offers resource-filled studios aimed at photographers, artists, fashion designers, and musicians. The facilities at their studios range from beginner all the way to the professional level. Genesis aims to inspire its members with not only the view of the beach (which is an extremely short walk from the coworking space) but also through workshops and mentoring. Their goal is to have their members create, collaborate, and even exhibit their art at their creative centre.

Hub Bali

This place offers more than just a coworking platform. They are a vibrant community that seeks to provide an affordable, comfortable, and inclusive coworking space in Bali and a living environment for people all around the world to be able to work, connect, share, empower and grow together while spending their time here in Bali.

They have a range of memberships to suit your needs, from a shared coworking space, a premium private office in Bali, to a co-living package. So whether you’re a professional freelancer looking to scale your network and business, a small-medium enterprise looking for a new private office, or perhaps a part of a multinational company setting up a satellite office, they can provide a space that perfectly suits your needs.

Hubud

As the first coworking space in Bali, Hubud recently merged with Dojo Bali, the most popular space in Ubud, which can only mean more benefits for their shared members. In Hubud, you’re surrounded by lush green rice fields on one side and the forest on the other. Along with the occasional monkeys, Hubud is the place where more than 10,000 visitors come each year for different reasons. Whether it’s to meet new people, learn new skills, or even find themselves, the staff at Hubud is dedicated to ensuring that each and every person gets what they need.

Livit Hub Bali

Being based only minutes away from the beach is only one of the many perks Livit has to offer. A premium shared office and coworking hub, Livit is an extremely diverse yet like-minded community that strives to achieve a work-life balance. The Livit Hub not only enables startups to grow their venture but also specializes in providing business support services all over the world, such as consultancies for nurturing global teams.

Livit recently opened its doors to all remote workers and digital nomads, who have the unique opportunity to work from the space’s beautiful café or the rooftop, providing some magnificent views of Sanur and Mount Agung. It is great value for money, as members gain access to the space’s Skype and meeting rooms, free meals, and laundry services among many other perks! Not to mention, members are invited to all the cool community events, which will make you feel right at home.

Rumah Sanur Creative Hub

Rumah Sanur’s motto is very clear: Connect, Collaborate, and Celebrate. The three C’s have attracted people from various industries, including artists, thinkers, and innovators, who all make up the diverse community of this creative hub. Rumah Sanur is committed to hosting events that bring these people together to inspire potential collaborations and to achieve great things in a collaborative setting.

Tropical Nomad

This coworking space is located right by the famous Canggu shortcut. With a beautiful view of lush green rice fields (paired with some of that inevitable Canggu traffic), it’s hard not to feel inspired at Tropical Nomad. Since it’s newly opened, it is not as crowded as some of the other coworking spaces, which makes it the perfect place to concentrate. Although it is quieter, there are still plenty of opportunities to be sociable, such as networking with other members over lunch at the space’s beautiful Bali-style café.

Uluwatu Hub

The Uluwatu Hub is a fairly new coworking space in Bali that features a chic, aesthetic design that’s perfect for creators. It’s the first of its kind around the area, featuring a coworking space right in the centre of Uluwatu. This means you can surf during your days off and head back to the coworking space if you need to send a quick email or make a call.

One of the unique features of Uluwatu Hub is the fact that they have four different themed workspaces. They have this laid-back space called “The Plunge” with a truly Bali vibe. This spot is great for when you just need to get some light tasks done because you’ll definitely be lured into the pool from time to time! Their Bambu Lounge is a warmly-lit space with colourful ceilings and a sleek bar. Alternatively, head to the Talent Garden if you want to feel the warm sun on your skin to get that inspiration flowing.

After a small detour in obstetrics and biology, Anne found her true passion for communication. She decided to exchange the figures, formulas and molecules for letters, organisations and design where she first was able to express her creativity in theatre and writing. Various committees with functions that are in line with communication, and her position as Public Relations board member at the Groninger Studenten Cabaret Festival, allowed her to already cast a glance on what’s important in communication and writing at young age.
