Robert Beard brings more than 30 years of Indonesia experience, including many years in Jakarta. His network spans the national business community, KADIN Indonesia and senior leaders across government ministries.
In June 2025, following discussions with the Deputy for Industry and Investment at the Ministry of Tourism, he co-founded the Bali Tourism and Investment Chamber (BTIC), where he serves as Advisor to the Board. BTIC connects tourism, investment, business and government stakeholders to strengthen Bali’s position as a destination for responsible investment.

Bali is entering a new phase. The development of Kura Kura Bali as an international financial centre could broaden the island’s role beyond tourism, into finance, family offices and wealth management.
