Some will find that the beach fun ends after the sun goes down when the beach warung staffs fold up their colourful beach umbrellas. Well, time to go to another place, you might think. It is what happens in some locations where all you can see after is the dark sea and dots of light on the horizon.

Yet, an evening by the beach promises a different atmosphere for those looking for a more relaxing chill-out vibe, where the beach is empty, the sound of waves become louder, and the joy of looking at the stars gives a positive mood. To put it another way, an evening is a start for another kind of Bali experiences.

As we mentioned before that not all beaches in Bali have crowds during the evening, here are some places that you can visit enjoy the time with friends or family.

NUSA DUA: ROMANTIC DINING

Cave dinner at Samabe

Nusa Dua area is well-known as the fun centre where people spend the day with watersport activities. Next to the bustling area, beaches along Benoa Bay are sometimes considered exclusive because they become a part of a hotel or resort. Hence, the beach area is in general well-maintained, clean, also functioning as a leisure or activity spot. Some resorts have beautiful beachfront restaurants overlooking the bay. Most of them are fine dining or upper-class categories, making it perfect for an intimate moment like a dinner date.

UNGASAN: JET SET CHILL NIGHT

Karma Beach Bali

Secluded at the bottom of the high cliff, the night vibe by the beach in this area is made to alive by two famous beach clubs, Karma Beach Club and Sundays Beach Clubs. While during the day these places have beach fun to offer, the evening promises more relaxing in style. Bonfire evening, movie night, DJ session and party agendas are some you can enjoy. Make a booking for an evening as jet-sets do.

JIMBARAN: SEAFOOD GALORE

From the sea to the table, the laid-back fishing village is the spot that gives a big grin for seafood lovers in particular. Whether it is a self-pleasure or a family dinner time, the Jimbaran beach area vibrates the night with a seafood dinner experience under the stars. Hundreds of visitors are filling up the tables every night, but there is always enough tables for everyone. The restaurants are generous enough by providing the guests’ entertainment to accompany the dinner, such as live music or Balinese dance performance.

ECHO BEACH: CANGGU HUB

If the Jimbaran area is too far for you, Echo Beach allows you to enjoy the evening’s sea breezes. On a deck by the beach there are restaurants with seafood and also international cuisine are available. At some beach club-style cafes, beer or cocktail happy hour is a great deal, perfectly matched with live music performance. As people say that the Canggu community is quickly growing bigger than ever, you can expect many people to go outside for chilling or socializing every day.

DOUBLE SIX BEACH: FUN & FRIENDLY NIGHT

Colourful bean bags and umbrellas, loud music – iconic characteristic of Double Six Beach area is an uplifting one, making this one stands out from the other. An evening here is fun, best spending with a group of best friends. As the sun is set, the music plays. Each restaurant has a different kind of music to suit your mood, from pulsing beat DJ performance to the romantic tunes of acoustic guitar performance. Grab one or two beers and see where your heart leads to for the rest of the evening.
