At the heart of Jl. Monkey Forest in Ubud lies a portal, a wondrous entrance to a realm of boundless fun and intrigue—The Blue Door. Enveloped in the enchanting sphere of Ubud, The Blue Door offers a playground of fun, energy, and allure. Channelling a magnetic blend of rocking energy and seductive charm, this vibrant hangout delivers a dual thrill: Beer Garden that buzzes with energy from dawn to dusk and beyond, complemented by the mystique of our Club Lounge exclusively at night. After all, as they say, “There are two sides to every door.”

The Beer Garden: Sips, Screens, and Roaring Riffs

Amidst the timeless charm of Ubud, The Blue Door’s Beer Garden brings a lively twist to daytime leisure. Imagine the scene: lounging with an ice-cold craft beer in hand, hailing from a selection of over 15 global and local brews, as your favourite sports team takes the lead on a vibrant HD screen. Pure, unadulterated joy!

But wait, the sun’s setting, and the energy’s just dialling up! As dusk envelopes the island, live bands—the island’s finest—start their renditions of classic rock and party favourites from 7.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thirsty for more than just tunes? Dive into the Coconut Espresso Martini, an exquisitely balanced dance of espresso, coconut cream, coconut shaving garnish, and infused vodka, or embark on a tropical journey with Nusantara, an exotic blend that promises a mini vacation with every sip.

Indulge in the succulent Pork Ribs, drenched in a sinful BBQ, whiskey, & honey marinade, or the delectable Grilled Tiger Prawns, masterfully complemented by the rich ‘Café de Paris’ butter, offering a tantalising burst of flavours.

The Club Lounge: Where Whimsy Meets Upbeat Beats

Behind a neon-lit blue doorway, a world of witty charm and vibrant energy unfolds. The Club Lounge, with its enigmatic décor, channels a blend of a classic speakeasy and a modern club. It’s a space where cocktails tell tales, and the music dictates the heart’s rhythm.

Lose yourself in the narrative of the The Red Pill, a cocktail so intriguing it might just show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Or sail between choices with The Devil & The Deep Blue Sea, a drink that’s as perplexing as its name.

And speaking of names, let’s drop a few: Thursdays thrive with Ladies Night, while Fridays are a rhythmic treat with Afro Nights. Saturdays dive deep with the Enigma Project, immersing you in pulsating House and Tech House beats. Sundays? They’re all about getting down with some classic Hip-Hop Remixes. And just when you think you’ve seen it all, we surprise you with special monthly events to keep the vibe fresh and exciting!

With the capacity to host up to 250 guests, The Blue Door is spacious yet intimate, accommodating seated guests and those who’d prefer to dance the night away. For those bespoke events, from private dinners to photoshoots, The Club Lounge is available for bookings during both the day and night.

Irresistible Offers

The Beer Garden, with its promise of live bands and delectable food, operates daily, ensuring you’re never short of entertainment. And the Club Lounge? It throws its doors open from Thursday to Sunday, from 8 p.m. till 3 a.m.—or even later if the night still feels young. DJ sets kick off at 10 p.m., setting the perfect ambiance for the night ahead.

Drive in without a care, our valet service is at your disposal. For those late-night (or early morning?) hunger bouts, hot and appetising food is served at Beer Garden till at least 1 a.m.

If you’re looking for a bit more, dive into the longest Happy Hour in Ubud, running every day from 12 p.m. – 7 p.m., alongside daily food and drink promotions. Weekends turn up the heat with free-flow drink packages to elevate your spirits.

Owners, Tom and Bina Philip, describe their vision for The Blue Door: “We aimed to create an unmatched Ubud experience, blending dining, drinks, and entertainment. Join us for nightly live bands in our Beer Garden and diverse DJ sets in the Club Lounge. With our unique cocktails and grill menu, we promise an unforgettable sensory journey. Remember, there are two sides to every door. Which side will choose you?”
