Ramada by Wyndham Bali Sunset Road proudly presents “View From Here,” a cartoon art exhibition by Jango Pramartha, showcasing a witty yet critical reflection on the evolution of Balinese culture and social life amid the fast-paced era of globalization. The exhibition officially opens on 31 October 2025 at the Lobby area of Ramada by Wyndham Bali Sunset Road Kuta and is open to the public.
Jango Pramartha is widely recognized as one of Indonesia’s most influential cartoonists, celebrating more than 40 years of creative work. He represents a strong identity in modern Balinese cartoon art — not only known locally but also internationally through various global exhibitions and publications. With a satirical style that captures the irony of everyday life, Jango’s compelling narratives have become a cornerstone in visualizing Bali’s cultural and social dynamics in the midst of rapid global change.
Bali continues to evolve while facing major challenges in preserving sacred cultural values and pursuing economic growth simultaneously. Through this exhibition, Jango invites audiences to reflect on the blurred boundaries between tradition and industry, spirituality and commercialization, heritage and modern demands.
