Kappa Senses Ubud proudly presents Lens with Purpose: Sustainability in Every Shutter, a powerful visual journey and collaboration with three of Indonesia’s most inspiring professional photographers and videographers: Rusdi Sanad, Gusde, and Surya Udayana. This unique event blends art, storytelling, and environmental consciousness to inspire and ignite a deeper connection between humanity and nature.
Through the lens of each artist, this exhibition explores the soul of Bali and the harmony between handcrafted beauty and the natural world:
- Rusdi Sanad, renowned for his evocative architectural photography within the hotel and resort industry, brings to life structures where nature and craftsmanship blend seamlessly. His work immerses viewers in a profound sense of place — as if they’ve stepped into the scene themselves.
- Gusde, with over 20 years of expertise in portrait and wedding photography, showcases a new dimension of his artistry through breathtaking nature compositions. His images speak softly but powerfully, honoring the quiet majesty of the natural world.
- Surya Udayana, a professional FPV and drone pilot, offers a breathtaking perspective of the natural world — one that invites us to look deeper, feel more connected, and take pride in the beauty of our planet. His work captures the earth in motion, transforming landscapes into powerful visual narratives.
This event, taking place on June 28, 2025, begins with an inspiring seminar where all three artists will share their creative processes, sustainable practices, and the stories behind their work, followed by the launch of an exclusive photo and video exhibition.
