Karma Group celebrates a new hangout spot in their 5-star resort – Karma Kandara
Put on your board shorts, bikinis and body bronzer and flaunt your curves at the newest elevated cocktail bar and gathering ground in Uluwatu. The opening of Le Club 22 with its frontline Karma Beach location and stunning panoramic sea views makes it the place to party in Uluwatu. Whether you’ve come to parade at the pool, laze on the beach or dance under the stars, at Le Club 22, you’ll find a multi-layered, multi-sensory space for you to relax, eat and play.
The club sets over the sugary white sand and turquoise waters under the cliffs of Uluwatu that can be accessed via Karma Kandara. Located hidden at the foot of a steep limestone cliff and accessed via a beach inclinator, this club has been created to blend with the coastal environment. An open pavilion – made with native bamboo, local timber and ironwood canopies – creates an organic feel to this sophisticated beach bar.
Embracing the nostalgia of California’s beach club culture, the design aesthetic is retro-1950s chic, influenced by the resurgence of mid-century tropical design. The minimalist architecture is offset by mirrored furniture pieces, abundant metallics and opulent fabrics. The bright colour palette creates a carefree, cosmopolitan beach scene.
The pan-eclectic menu with influences from the Mediterranean, Asia and America has been created by the award-winning Executive Chef Joseph Antonishek. The club also serves signature cocktails and a wide selection of wines, as well as delicious tapas-style and more substantial dishes. Get your beach groove on with the best of the islands DJs on deck duty spinning out the ultimate feel-good tunes.
A paradise against the sea, Le Club 22 can definitely bring the coastal fiesta during the day or night, from the chic and elite to the raw and creative!
