Just about at the corner of the cherished Goutama Selatan street, nestled a small ramen dining called Kazumi. Shortly after a friendly server took our order, the owner Mr. Ken, a Yokohama native, gave us a very warm greeting. Open door since 2019 the Izakaya-style restaurant usually packed with customers at dinner time. Often referred to as “Ubud’s hidden gem.” this popular restaurant offers a delightful blend of traditional flavors and a cozy atmosphere, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and travellers alike.
A Culinary Journey in Ubud

Authentic Ramen
First and foremost, the top highlight is their signature melt-in-your-mouth char-siu pork. A rich blend of soy sauce, mirin, and garlic marinates the tender slices of pork to perfection. They are slow-cooked for 6 hours until they reach a perfect balance of sweet and savoury. And with each bite of the tasty meat, it practically dissolves on your tongue. The char-siu adds an irresistible flavour to the ramen, complementing the umami-rich broth and springy noodles, creating a combination that makes the craving come true with every slurp.
Committed in bringing the authentic Japanese Ramen, all the noodles are homemade that are moderately aged within 4 days of production, along with that, Kazumi offer 3 options for the ramen broth they are:
