Taking guests on a journey across the Island of the Gods, Padma Resort Legian unveils Bali Heritage Afternoon Tea, a reimagined afternoon tea experience inspired by Bali’s diverse landscapes, culinary traditions, and locally sourced produce.

Presented on a bespoke tray shaped like the island of Bali, the collection features ten handcrafted sweet and savoury creations that celebrate the flavours and stories of the destination. Thoughtfully curated to showcase Bali’s cultural richness through taste, the experience offers a refreshing alternative to conventional afternoon teas found elsewhere on the island.

Among the sweet highlights is the Bedugul Strawberry Delight, inspired by the fertile highlands of Bedugul, a region renowned for its cool climate and exceptional agricultural produce, particularly its fresh strawberries. Another standout, the Piña Colada Mille-Feuille, combines crisp puff pastry and local pineapple cream, coming together as an elegant tribute to Bali’s tropical bounty.

The savoury selections pay homage to Bali’s celebrated base, the traditional spice pastes that form the foundation of many local dishes. The Denpasar Snapper Satay features fresh snapper infused with Bali spices and lemongrass, complemented by vibrant sambal matah that reflects the coastal flavours of nearby Sanur. Meanwhile, the Gianyar Chicken Quiche offers an elevated interpretation of a traditional Bali preparation, combining chicken cooked with aromatic Bali spice paste and cassava leaves within a delicate quiche base, bridging local heritage with international culinary techniques.

To accompany the culinary experience, guests may choose from a selection of the resort’s signature homemade tea blends. Retained from the previous afternoon tea due to their popularity among guests, the collection includes Chrysanberry, Pale Ruby, and Purple Velvet. Further enriching the experience is a collection of beverages inspired by the Indonesian archipelago. include Loloh Don Kayu Manis Refresher, Es Bir Singaraja, Telang Spritz, and Coconut & Pandan Cooler, while cocktail enthusiasts may savour the Honey Lime Fizz and Cocopandan Marteani, both celebrating beloved local ingredients through contemporary mixology.

More than a culinary offering, the Bali Heritage Afternoon Tea reflects the resort’s commitment to preserving and sharing the island’s cultural identity through meaningful guest experiences. By showcasing the stories, flavours, and traditions found across Bali’s diverse regions, the resort invites guests to discover the island from a new perspective. The Bali Heritage Afternoon Tea is available daily at Padma Resort Legian, priced at IDR 635,000+/set for 2 persons, with a minimum of 1 day in advance order.
