What if the bottle you drink from every day was quietly harming you?
The Bali Water Foundation, a women-led organization, is pioneering a solution to one of the most overlooked threats to human health and the environment — the conventional water bottle itself.
After five years of searching the globe for the right technology, the Foundation is now in early trials for what is set to become Asia’s first plant-based reusable water bottle, to be introduced to Indonesia and the world in quarter four 2026.

“The plastic problem extends beyond Bali,” says Foundation representative Doerthe Szech. “This journey began in 2020, and what we are introducing is not just a new product — it is a new category.”
A category built around advanced hydration, human longevity, and a future free from the microplastics, nanoparticles, and metals that contaminate conventional plastic bottles and metal tumblers.
This is only the beginning of the story.
