Bali is set to become a global focal point for conscious tourism and cultural innovation as The Meru Sanur prepares to host the I AM CREATION Summit 2025, a three-day international gathering of over 1,000 leaders, creators, and change-makers from around the world.
Scheduled for September 19–21, the summit marks a significant moment for Sanur, positioning the coastal town not only as a destination for global thought leadership but also as a steward of Balinese cultural heritage. The event will feature more than 30 internationally recognised speakers with a combined digital reach exceeding 20 million, amplifying Bali’s voice on the world stage.

The summit’s programming is designed to integrate Balinese customs with contemporary dialogue. Highlights include ceremonial openings and closings led by local spiritual guides, a village-style marketplace spotlighting Balinese artisans and wellness practitioners, and traditional performances and rituals that invite participants to experience—not just observe—Balinese culture.
A dedicated Cultural Panel on September 19 will feature respected Balinese elders and cultural custodians discussing the island’s evolving role in a globalised world. The summit also supports grass-roots organisations such as Anak Kita, which focuses on youth education, and Plastic Angels, a coastal sustainability initiative.
Beyond cultural exchange, organisers aim to deliver tangible economic benefits to the local community. Initiatives include showcasing local vendors, fostering partnerships with hospitality groups, and employing Indonesian professionals throughout the event.
