What began as a heartfelt journey in childcare has blossomed into a renowned concierge service for families travelling to Bali. Veronica Moersito, affectionately known as Veronica Bali Nanny, turned her years of experience caring for children into a hospitality enterprise that’s redefining family holidays on the Island of the Gods.
Veronica, now 45, spent years working as a professional nanny, winning the trust of international guests who frequently requested her assistance during their visits to Bali. The warm bonds she formed with these families meant they returned time and again, often treating her as one of their own. From Lombok and Labuan Bajo to Sumba and even overseas trips, Veronica’s journey has taken her far beyond Bali—proof of the lasting impression she leaves.

Seeing the growing demand for qualified nannies and babysitters, Veronica founded Bali Angel Holiday in 2018. Under this agency, she began training and certifying local women to international standards, equipping them with skills in English, swimming, first aid, cooking, motorbike handling, and crafting creative activities for children. The goal? To cultivate a team of highly professional, reliable caregivers.
When COVID-19 brought Bali’s tourism sector to a standstill, many local workers, especially freelance drivers and nannies, found themselves without work. Yet, as international travel froze, many foreign and mixed families settled in Bali long-term, creating unprecedented demand for full-time childcare. Bali Angel Holiday stepped in, and its name quickly gained recognition.

Today, the agency offers transparent fixed daily rates and generous monthly discounts while ensuring all nannies and babysitters are paid above Bali’s minimum wage. But the service doesn’t stop at childcare.
In 2021, Veronica launched a dedicated events division for children—Kids Activity—specialising in birthdays and festive occasions such as Halloween, Christmas, Easter, and Indonesia’s National Children’s Day. This arm of the business provides creative, safe, and joy-filled experiences at affordable prices.

By 2022, as borders reopened, Bali Angel Holiday expanded further with Tour & Transport, offering airport transfers and private tours around Bali. “We’re a one-stop service,” Veronica explains. “From the moment guests land at Ngurah Rai Airport, we ensure they’re comfortable—cool air conditioning, experienced English-speaking drivers, and friendly service. We also offer in-home treatments like massage, hair braiding, manicures, and pedicures.”
Bali Angel Holiday caters for children’s needs too, with rentable baby equipment including strollers, high chairs, car seats, travel cots, bicycles, and toys. “Our service is built on transparency and professionalism,” Veronica adds. “Safety and comfort are absolutely paramount.”
Driven by a mission to empower local women—especially single mothers—Veronica founded the Bali Nanny Community, a platform for knowledge-sharing, job opportunities, emotional support, and professional development. With its tagline Community, Care, Connections, the community has grown impressively, boasting over 6,000 members within its first year.
Veronica also rallies the community for yearly charity initiatives, visiting different orphanages around Bali and donating supplies.
To support a thriving work ecosystem, she collaborates with talented local MCs, magicians, face painters, decorators, photographers, and drivers. Her team now includes 10 full-time nannies, dozens of freelancers, two full-time drivers, and several part-time drivers.
“I treat my team as partners, not subordinates,” she says. “We often gather for discussions, meals—even outings together. I truly believe a happy team delivers exceptional service, and that’s the essence of our professionalism.”
Veronica now also serves as Chairwoman of TDA Perempuan Denpasar-Bali, continuing her advocacy for female entrepreneurship.
