Bali never runs out of charm. Its global appeal extends beyond the island itself to the surrounding gems — Nusa Penida, Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, Gili Meno, Senggigi, and Lombok — destinations that continue to attract both domestic and international travellers. To reach these islands, visitors need sea transport that is safe, comfortable, and reliable. Meeting this demand, Semaya One Fast Cruise has established itself as a trusted provider of quality sea transport for many years.

“Our company is committed to supporting inter‑island connectivity, tourism growth, and regional economic development through professional service,” says Made Agung Kori, General Manager of Semaya One Fast Cruise.

Founded in 2011 by I Made Wijaya, the company launched its first voyage in 2012. Operating from two strategic ports — Sanur and Padangbai — Semaya One chose these locations for their accessibility, facilities, and role as gateways to Bali and Nusa Tenggara’s favourite island destinations. With such strategic departure points, travellers enjoy more efficient journeys without wasting precious holiday time.

One of the vessels owned by Semaya One Fast Cruise, the Semaya Darmajaya Jet — a fast ferry with a capacity of up to 280 passengers.

Currently, Semaya One operates two main vessels: the Semaya Darmajaya Jet, a fast ferry with capacity for up to 280 passengers, and the SemayaOne Pride, a fast boat carrying 140 passengers. Soon, the fleet will welcome the SemayaOne Miracle, a luxury fast ferry for 250 passengers, further enhancing service quality for both locals and tourists.

The difference between a fast boat and a fast ferry lies in technology and materials. Fast boats use outboard engines with lightweight fibreglass hulls, offering agility. Fast ferries, meanwhile, use inboard engines with full aluminium hulls, providing greater stability and comfort. Both types are regularly maintained to ensure passenger safety and convenience.

Onboard, travellers enjoy air‑conditioned cabins, sundecks for sea views, comfortable seating, entertainment, complimentary mineral water, and safety equipment that meets maritime standards. To make journeys even smoother, Semaya One also offers shuttle bus services to pick up and drop off passengers at their accommodation.

Semaya One serves popular routes tailored to different budgets, from economical packages to premium options. The most affordable route is Sanur–Nusa Penida, priced at IDR 200,000 one way or IDR 400,000 return. Routes to the Gilis and Lombok — including Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, Gili Meno, Bangsal, and Senggigi — depart from Sanur, Padangbai, Nusa Penida, and Nusa Lembongan, with fares starting at IDR 400,000–475,000 one way or IDR 800,000–900,000 return.

“With diverse routes, competitive prices, and safe, comfortable service, our company is committed to delivering the best travel experience for every customer,” Agung explains.

From Sanur, travellers can reach Nusa Penida’s iconic sights such as Kelingking Beach, Angel’s Billabong, Broken Beach, and Crystal Bay. Routes also connect to the Gilis and Lombok, offering snorkelling and diving in crystal‑clear waters, coral reefs, and Senggigi’s white‑sand beaches with stunning sunsets. Nusa Penida remains a favourite for its dramatic cliffs, pristine beaches, and rich marine life.

Unlike tour operators, Semaya One focuses purely on transport, with fixed daily schedules that give travellers flexibility to plan their own itineraries. Reservations are available from 7am to 9pm daily. Travel times are efficient: Padangbai to Gili Trawangan takes about 1.5 hours in the morning or 2.5 hours in the afternoon, while Padangbai to Senggigi takes around 1.5 hours.

Booking is simple through the official website www.semayaone.com, allowing travellers to secure tickets before arriving in Bali. Regular promotions offer discounts of 15–20%, subject to terms and conditions.

Agung advises booking early, especially during holiday seasons, to guarantee seats. Passengers should arrive at check‑in at least one hour before departure, bring valid ID, and follow baggage rules. During the journey, crew instructions ensure safety and comfort. “With good preparation, travellers can enjoy a safe, comfortable, and memorable sea journey with Semaya One Fast Cruise,” Agung concludes.
