Not far from Tegalalang beautiful spot of Rice Terrace view, where we will admire the multi-levelled rice fields and explore through the dikes between rice fields, Alas Harum Agro Tourism is the next stop worth checking on a day trip to the area. Situated in a similar setting, this tourist attraction has some interesting activities to offer!

Like many other agro-tourism in Bali, especially in the central area, Alas Harum Agro Tourism started as a place for coffee tour, in which guest will be guided on a traditional civet (Luwak) coffee-making process, from encounter with civet sleeping in the cage during the day (it is normal. They are nocturnal) to traditional process until ready on the table. At the end of the tour, guest can sample different kinds of coffee, usually plus a full cup of Civet Coffee.

Now offering more than that, and also maximizing the potential of its nice location, guest visiting Alas Harum Agro Tourism can test their adrenalin rush or create a unique travel photo.

JUNGLE SWING

Enjoy the terrace rice field view from the top as you swing into the air. The swing provides a fun and adrenaline test that makes your heart beats faster for a moment. As boys will be boys, it is only a matter of size, so as the jungle swing. You will be in the air hundreds of metre from the land.

There are different swings available at the spot, at the lower and higher locations. Guest can also do the swim as a solo or tandem (couple) for those lovebirds who are excited to experience the thrill together. No need to worry about safety as they will put the equipment on your body and the guides are the ones you can trust for this thing.

FLYING FOX

If you really want to try the jungle, but prefer doing a small step, Alas Harum has flying fox facilities, which is safer as you are heading in one direction, going forward from a higher point to the lower point. As you slide down over the beautiful rice paddies, try to focus on the beauty may relieve the nervous feeling.

BIG GORILLA SELFIE SPOT

Alas Harum Agro Tourism

A 13-metres high head of gorilla carved on the rock is the most obvious spot seen from far. Follow the path and explore around to find several spots to take a perfect shot. The owner of the place has put some interesting ornaments like a big nest and dance bridge as the stop points for taking photos. There is also another huge carved figure of an old man smiling around some kids, called Pekak Brayut.

COFFEE TASTING

Do not miss the coffee tasting while still here. It is said that civet coffee has a different taste than other kinds of coffee. With the tasting cup, the guest will be provided with two cups of coffee, one the Luwak and another is the regular Balinese coffee, so upon tasting, the difference in taste can be felt.
Alas Harum Agro Tourism opens from 9am until 6pm.
