Conrad Bali’s Kura Kura Kids Club has undergone a makeover, designed to elevate children’s play experience. Conrad prides itself on delivering inspired stays and memorable sensory experiences for every guest, which includes little ones and not just grown-ups.
The unique Kura Kura play space has been transformed into a vibrant underwater world to stimulate children’s senses, curiosity and imagination. Conrad commissioned talented local visual artists from Mural Bali using eco-friendly water-based paints, to create an eye-catching whimsical marine world filled with weird and wonderful creatures to inspire kids’ creativity and pique their interest in learning more about the big blue and its ecology.
“Our idea was to marry the richness of Balinese local artistic talent with culture by giving them a blank canvas at our Kura Kura Kids Club to decorate and translate Tanjung Benoa’s fishermen village lifestyle painted onto the ceiling of the play space, where you will see the traditional jukung and abundance of life under the sea in and around the location,” said Kevin Girard, General Manager of Conrad Bali.
The toy selection at Kura Kura Kids Club has also been upgraded, removing plastic items and replacing with Indonesian traditional toys made from natural materials to enhance tactile and sensory play. Outdoors, located immediately adjacent to the ocean, kids can discover our expansive and safe playground filled with different structures, equipment and spaces for children to engage in free play and physical activity, offering a refreshing break from typical screen time.
Kids will enjoy the new look and facilities, keeping them engaged for hours on end. Kura Kura Kids Club offers some daily complimentary structured activities such as yoga, Balinese cosplay, dancing and traditional puppet-making, origami and face painting among others. There are also engaging activities children may join for a small fee such as clay and turtle painting, t-shirt and bag painting along with jewelry making.
Parents can rest assured their children are enjoying a great time and take some time to themselves to relax at their own pace and enjoy world-class facilities. Whether it’s lazing by the dazzling lagoon pool, working out in the well-equipped fitness center or having a spa afternoon, parents can be confident that their little ones will be well cared for.
