Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali and Holiday Inn Express Baruna Bali kicked off their “Sparkling Treasure” festive season celebration on December 10, 2025, with a magical Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at Baruna Lawn Garden.
The evening gathering brought together guests from both properties and media partners for this special occasion. As attendees gathered around the magnificent 15-meter Christmas tree at Baruna Lawn Garden, anticipation filled the air. When thousands of twinkling lights finally burst to life across the towering tree, the joyful voices of the Gereja Bala Keselamatan (Salvation Army) Bali choir filled the evening with traditional carols, creating a perfect harmony of sound and light. The celebratory boom of meriam bamboo added a distinctly Indonesian touch to the festivities, blending local traditions with the magic of Christmas.
General Manager Ilham Sungkar warmly welcomed all attendees, expressing gratitude for their presence at this meaningful celebration. His remarks built to an exciting announcement that has everyone talking: this year’s New Year’s Eve celebration will feature a spectacular display of 1,000 fireworks lighting up the Bali sky, promising to make this festive season the most unforgettable yet for the Baruna properties.
Throughout the ceremony, guests mingled in the relaxed tropical setting, enjoying complimentary holiday cocktails and mocktails alongside an array of beautifully presented canapés and festive cookies lovingly prepared by the Food & Beverage and Culinary teams.
