The “Gallery of Art” returned to The Apurva Kempinski Bali on 1 April 2023, which was celebrated through an art and dance performance at its majestic Pendopo Lobby. Seeking to appreciate the talented artists of Indonesia, the gallery featured a captivating collaboration between the Indonesia-based intuitive photographer Stephane Sensey and the highly acclaimed Indonesian traditional dance maestro Didik Nini Thowok. Guests were invited to witness a mesmerising dance, “Tari Dwimuka Jawa-Bali”, as well as extraordinary photographs of Indonesia. Sensey’s portrait collections will be displayed until the end of June 2023.
The Pendopo Lobby of The Apurva Kempinski Bali has been home to the resort’s unique “Gallery of Art” programme since 1 December 2022, which features carefully selected works of art by local and international artists. As part of the “Powerful Indonesia” campaign, this programme aims to promote the rich and diverse culture of Indonesia. The resort’s guests and visitors can look forward to new exhibitions from different artists at the Gallery of Art every three months.
