Accor Run for Hope 2026 successfully held its first charity run on 31 May 2026 at ITDC Nusa Dua. The event was organized to raise funds and awareness in support of underprivileged children at A Trust For A Child (ATFAC)learning centre (Sanggar) in Bedugul, helping to provide access to education and developmental opportunities.

Founded in 2001 by Accor in Indonesia and operated by Yayasan Peduli Tunas Bangsa, ATFAC aims to help underprivileged children and their families gain access to supportive after school learning, nutritious foods, sports, and social facilities. Currently, there are two Sanggar , one in Cipinang, East Jakarta and one in Bedugul, Bali.
Accor Run for Hope 2026 united individuals, families, team members from the hotels, and corporate partners around a common goal of giving back to the community. Drawing more than 1,400 participants, the charity run generated valuable support for programs dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children.
The successful delivery of Accor Run for Hope 2026 was made possible through the strong collaboration of the organizing committee of Accor hotels in Bali & Lombok, led by Jan Kroeckel, Area General Manager Bali Lombok, together with Ravi Khubchandani, Area General Manager Bali Lombok; Florent Michaud, General Manager of Mercure Bali Legian and Chairman of Accor Run for Hope 2026; Bilal Chamsine, General Manager of Novotel Bali Nusa Dua; Ketut Iriana, General Manager of Mercure Bali Nusa Dua; Yoesi Bagus Taruna, General Manager of Mercure Bali Resort Sanur; and Igor Raicevic, General Manager of The Grand Seminyak Bali.
“Accor Run for Hope is more than just a race—it is a platform for collective impact,” said Jan Kroeckel, Area General Manager Bali Lombok. “Every step taken by our participants helps open doors to education and opportunities for children who need them most.”
The event featured a 5km Fun Run category, making it accessible to participants of all ages and fitness levels. Beyond the run itself, attendees enjoyed children’s entertainment, face painting, coloring activities, kids fun games, live performances, best costume competition, lucky draws, fundraising raffle sessions, and community engagement booths.
With the generous support of ITDC, Diversey, Accor Vacation Club, BCA, and Icon Cancer Center, proceeds from the event benefit Sanggar Bedugul and its mission to support underprivileged children through education, creative development, and access to essential resources.
